In 2015, The Connecticut Democracy Center launched Connecticut’s Kid Governor® as a pilot civics program for 5th graders. Years later, Kid Governor® is a national program with affiliates in other states and Connecticut’s Kid Governor® as the flagship program. 2024 Connecticut’s Kid Governor Cristiano Almeida
Cristiano Almeida of Southington, CT was elected by the 5th graders of his state to serve as the 2024 Connecticut’s Kid Governor.
