In November 2020, the fifth graders of Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Oregon cast their votes for who would be their 2021 Kid Governors.
2021 Connecticut’s Kid Governor Reese Naughton
Reese Naughton of Oshana Elementary School in Southington, CT was announced as the 2021 Connecticut’s Kid Governor during an outdoor, socially distanced event on Friday, November 20th. The CTKG-elect was voted into office based on her platform of Pandemic Health.

2021 New Hampshire’s Kid Governor Charlie Olsen
Charlie Olsen of Auburn Village School in Auburn, NH was announced as the 2021 New Hampshire’s Kid Governor on November 18th. Charlie found out during a presentation at his school. The NHKG-elect was voted into office based on his platform of Childhood Depression.

2021 Oregon’s Kid Governor

Taneesh Garg of Springville Elementary School in Portland, OR was announced as the 2021 Oregon’s Kid Governor on November 18th during a Zoom announcement. Taneesh was elected to serve as the next ORKG based on his platform of Racism.
